FFLAG gets friendlier

As the result of a donation FFLAG has been able to introduce 0845 numbers for each of its helplines.

This means that anyone calling a FFLAG helpline, from anywhere in the UK, will only pay for the cost of a local call. Previously anyone further than 35 miles from a FFLAG helpline was paying for a national call and as calls to FFLAG can often last over an hour and sometimes three!! this proved expensive.

Best wishes for a happy ‘retirement’

In the beginning FFLAG met as a steering group, the first meeting in November 1991 was attended by seven parents including Frances Nicol. One of the decisions taken at that meeting was that FFLAG needed to buy a word processor!!

FFLAG meet the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement

April 29th saw the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement (LGCM) hold its annual general meeting in Cardiff. The AGM was also the 30th birthday of the movement.

FFLAG was present at the event. Sue Allen, Chair of Trustees was invited to be a member of a discussion forum around “today’s challenges.” This concentrated on the rise of fundamentalism and the problems this has created.
