FFLAG is seeking committed individuals to join its Board of Trustees

FFLAG is a registered charity, established in 1993 to support the families and friends of lesbians, gay men and bisexual people across the UK. The current Board has seven members and we are looking to increase this.

We are particularly looking for people with a legal/ financial background and those with experience of fundraising or working in and with the media. We would also encourage applications from people with an interest in working on European projects (language skills useful but not essential).

In order to address a current geographical imbalance we would welcome applications from people living north of Birmingham or in the South East of England.

Attendance at quarterly meetings of the Board of Trustees in Bristol is essential, as is a willingness to take responsibility for agreed projects and represent FFLAG as necessary.

Trustees are expected to undertake activities outside of the quarterly meetings and regular email/telephone contact will be required.

Whilst these roles are voluntary and only basic expenses are paid. Your contribution and hard work will help to make a real difference to the lives of LGB people, their parents, families and friends.

For more information please contact Sue Allen, Chair of Trustees, on 0845 652 0311 or email: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
